Flint Property Portal 3.65.0

The Flint Property Portal was launched by the Genesee County Land Bank Authority and the City of Flint in 2017. The goal of the Portal is to enhance public access to property information, fostering engagement, transparency, and trust between residents and local government in Flint. Questions like ownership of nearby vacant properties, the future plans for certain buildings, scheduled demolitions, or how to report deteriorated structures to authorities can now be addressed through this platform.

The collaboration between the Land Bank and the City of Flint stems from years of public feedback on the need for improved property information. Consequently, the Flint Property Portal was initiated to empower the public with comprehensive property details, enabling them to play a more active role in our government's accountability.

What Does the Flint Property Portal Offer?

• Property Lookup: The Portal features a profile for every property within Flint. Each profile includes a photograph along with up to 40 relevant property details. Users can easily retrieve information on any property by locating it on the map or entering its address or parcel ID into the search toolbar.
• Property Update: Property conditions in Flint are subject to rapid changes, influencing daily decisions made by the Land Bank and City officials. Through the Property Update function, users can promptly report property alterations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data for decision-making. Users can also contribute to community efforts like boarding, trash removal, and lawn maintenance by submitting a Maintenance Message.
